ISAK's research and development activities are based on development operations and projects carried out together with its partnership network and other actors. The Centre for Design and International Business offers an innovative and dynamic environment for this activity.

Collaboration with the Design Resource Centre D'ART enables an extensive development and service supply for the partners. For example, themed innovation camps for the well-being sector and designed trade fair, exhibition and information environments for national and international contexts are being planned, modeled and implemented in collaboration by D'ART and ISAK.

ISAK carries out research and development activities also in connection with products and services in the field. Central partners in R&D are research and development organizations, educational institutions, customer organizations and companies.
